The Bob Chambul Memorial Award

On Friday, January 18, 2008, Westlund mourned the sudden passing of one of its brightest stars . . . Bob Chambul.

Bob led his small Rycroft, AB branch team consisting of wife Jeannine, Lance Boomgarden and later Brad Shannon to win the Platinum award (highest national award) in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2005 and in 2006 a new category "World Class Leaders"!

In April, Kevin O'Reilly, VP and General Manager Westlund announced that The Bob Chambul Memorial Award has been created and will be awarded for the first time in 2008.  It is awarded to the Westlund Branch Manager whose team produces the highest ROI.  "Westlund could not be prouder to name this award in memory of Bob", said Kevin, adding "how fitting to present an award that Bob typified . . . to recognize a Branch Manager whose leadership reaches or strives towards World Class, thus leading the team to substantial gain."

Bob Chambul - loving husband, strong family values and astute businessman . . . his star will continue to shine on.  We will miss you Bob.
